Amber Rose has spoken out about the intense criticism she faced for openly supporting former President Donald Trump. The 41-year-old model revealed that her political stance cost her many fans but insists she does not regret her decision.
“During the election, I was ‘canceled,’” Rose said in an interview with Maxim. “Now? All the naysayers are quiet. They see he’s already changing our country for the better.”
Rose, who has children with rapper Wiz Khalifa and music executive Alexander “AE” Edwards, stated that society needs to have open and honest political discussions. She argued that cancel culture prevents meaningful conversations and silences differing opinions.
She admitted that she once leaned toward left-wing politics but changed her views after conducting her own research. Rose criticized the left for prioritizing emotions over facts, saying that society must return to reality-based discussions.
Her support for Trump became widely known in July 2024 when she spoke at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. During her speech, she shared how her father encouraged her to question mainstream narratives about Trump.
“The left told me to hate Trump,” she said at the time. “But when you cut through the lies, you realize the truth. American families were better when Donald Trump was president. We were safer, wealthier, and stronger.”
Beyond her outspoken political views, Rose hinted at a possible future in politics. When asked if she would ever consider a political role, she responded, “Maybe. I still have a lot to learn, but I’m definitely in love with it.”
For now, she is focusing on a new project—a political talk show where she will share her opinions on current events.
Despite the backlash, Rose remains firm in her beliefs. She continues to challenge cancel culture and advocate for political discussions without fear of judgment.
