While awaiting his domestic violence trial, actor Jonathan Majors has sparked suspicions that he secretly married his fiancée Meagan Good.
Good, 42, and Majors, 34, attended the Black and White Gala in Washington, D.C., over the weekend. Co-hosting the event with Larenz Tate, Good took the platform and said she enjoyed how they “support each other” and that there were “so many beautiful Black faces.”
“Baby, you want to say anything?” she asked Majors, who was arrested in March after a woman alleged that Majors had abused her.
He took the microphone as the crowd cheered and stated, “You all heard the missus, so that’s what it is.”
Majors and Good were first spotted together in Los Angeles in April, only a few weeks after his arrest.
Majors and Good have not revealed if they are married, but if they are, it will be just five months after they were first linked.
The Creed III actor was arrested on March 25 in New York and charged with misdemeanor charges of assault and harassment.
After a 30-year-old woman reported being assaulted by Majors and responding officers found that she had minor injuries, he was arrested after a 911 call.
Later that day, the actor was released by police when his lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, denied any wrongdoing on her client’s behalf.
She said Majors assaulted him and that he called 911 out of concern for her mental health.
Despite prosecutors’ claims that they were continuing in the discovery process, Chaudhry had requested a fast trial, and the problem was rescheduled for September 6.
Majors appeared in court virtually on Wednesday, and the trial was delayed until September 15.
Majors’ attorneys said that they are ready for trial this time, citing “deficiencies” in the certificate of conformity.
As a consequence of the incident, Majors’ management company, Entertainment 360, and public relations agency, The Lede business, sacked him immediately.
The Army Enterprise Marketing Office has put a halt to a US Army advertising campaign featuring Majors.
It is still believed that the actor who played Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel universe appeared in about half of Loki’s season two episodes.
In their marketing, Marvel has made no secret of this. In fact, a version of his character Kang appeared in the initial teaser, which the studio released in late July.
