“The nerves come in because you’re standing in front of not just some of the best, but some of the biggest performers in the world. Nerves are part of what I do.”

Trevor Noah who recently left the Daily Show after seven years in an emotional departure will be hosting the Grammies live on Sunday from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
This year the Awards return to Los Angeles from Las Vegas. Last year the venue was shifted to Vegas due to covid-19 restrictions and the omicron variant.
“The nerves come in because you’re standing in front of not just some of the best, but some of the biggest performers in the world. Nerves are part of what I do,” Noah told the Associated Press.
“Every year, I notice that I develop a different rapport with the people in the room,” he said. “That opens you up to a few more jokes and a few more conversations in a way where people understand the context of who you are in relation to them. It means you get to have a little bit of fun without anybody feeling like you’re dunking on them,” Noah added.
Co-host Beyonce heads the nominations count with a total of nine nominations, including song of the year for “Break My Soul.” Kendrick Lamar has eighth nominations, while Adele and Carlile both have seven.
