Kai Cenat, who is one of the most popular streamers on the platform with a total following of 3 million, has been banned from the platform after he consumed edibles live with thousands of viewers watching. Cenat became the site’s most subbed content-creator in 2022 and is the fastest growing creator on Twitch.
Any content or activity featuring, encouraging, offering, or soliciting illegal activity is prohibited and may be reported to law enforcement.”

While there is yet to be an official statement from Twitch about the ban, viewers speculate it may have been on account of the creator eating edibles on a livestream.
Twitch is a gaming livestream platform which is one of the fastest-growing platforms on the internet.
Cenat has had a troubled history with Twitch and has been banned from the platform before despite being one of its most prominent creators. The recent ban is his fourth. He has previously been banned for use of profane language, showing videos with nudity and hateful language.
Twitch’s website lists the following terms and conditions that all content-creators must adhere by: “For the safety of our community, we require users to respect all applicable local, national, and international laws while using our services. Any content or activity featuring, encouraging, offering, or soliciting illegal activity is prohibited and may be reported to law enforcement.”
