In a shocking revelation, FBG Duck’s mom claims King Von put a hit out on Boss Trell, a rival gang member, in 2012. The statement comes in the wake of news that an FBI witness testified that the late Chicago rapper King Von put a hit on Duck.
“Von would have killed Trell, him and T. Roy,” she claimed. “Only the streets know and only the people who did it know, that’s why I say ‘allegedly.’”
Rodney “Boss Trell” Steward was a member of the gang Gangster Disciple who was shot to death on November 8, 2012, when he was only 17. Trell died from a gunshot to the head. At the time of his death, Trell was living with his grandmother, who said her grandson was a good kid who had plans for his future. She also said that on the day of his death, he had bought bus tickets to Iowa to live with two friends and make a fresh start.
Rapper King Von (real name Davyon Daquan Bennett 1994-2020) was a Chicago rapper who is famous for his single “Crazy Story” that has over 90 million views on youtube, died at the age of 26 in a fatal shoot-out with rival crew Quando Rondo outside of Monaco hookah long in Atlanta, Georgia in November 2020. Body count from the gang war has reached seven so far.
In the 64th Annual Grammy Awards, Bennet was included in the In Memoriam montage. One member of Quando Rondo gang rapper Lul “Timothy Leeks” Timm, who was also wounded in the exchange of gunfire was apprehended by Atlanta Police.
King Von had a troubled relationship with the law. In July 2014, he was charged with one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder for a shooting that took place in Englewood, Chicago, but the charges were dropped after witnesses failed to testify. In July 2021, Chicago Police released documents showing that Bennett was responsible for shooting of Gangster Disciples gang member Gakirah K.I.
