Kanye West Breaks Silence on Deleted Controversial Post About Kamala Harris

Kanye West, also known as Ye, has once again found himself at the center of controversy after making a provocative statement on social media. The rapper, producer, and fashion mogul, known for his history of inflammatory remarks, stirred outrage after posting a highly sexualized comment about former Vice President Kamala Harris.

On Saturday, West took to X to share a crude and disrespectful message about Harris, referencing her defeat to Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election. In the since-deleted post,

he wrote, “I used to want to f-ck Kamala until she lost. I don’t f-ck losers anymore,”

Shortly after deleting the post, West doubled down, appearing to mock those who criticized him. He posted another message claiming, “The Democrats made me take the loser post down. Naw, I’m kidding. Dey don’t control Black people no more. Trump 4 life.” This statement further fueled the backlash, with many calling out his remarks as misogynistic and divisive.

Following the uproar, West issued a partial apology, though it did little to undo the damage. “Kamala seems like a very nice human,” he posted. “I just wanna say sorry to her kids.” However, many felt his apology lacked sincerity, considering his track record of controversial statements.

West, who was previously banned from X in 2022 for anti-Semitic remarks, continued his social media tirade, posting cryptic and bold statements. He declared, “The world is so lucky to have me,” and later added, “Trump’s back in office. Ye’s back a billionaire. The world might just be ok.” In a bizarre twist, he also joked about being a clone, boasting, “I’m rich, so I can say whatever the f-ck I want to.”

Despite ongoing public scrutiny and legal troubles, West remains in the spotlight. In November 2024, reports emerged that a new documentary about him was in production, promising an in-depth look at his transformation and influence on pop culture.
