Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Faces New Indictment in Ongoing Sex Trafficking Case

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been accused of a prolonged pattern of abuse, coercion, and threats, targeting women and those around him to satisfy his alleged sexual desires, according to federal prosecutors in New York. In a superseding indictment filed on Thursday, authorities claimed that Combs’ alleged criminal activities spanned a longer period than initially reported.

While the new indictment does not introduce additional criminal charges, it expands upon the allegations of racketeering conspiracy. Prosecutors now contend that Combs’ purported misconduct extended over two decades, from 2004 to 2024, and involved additional victims linked to alleged sex trafficking operations.

The updated indictment describes how Combs’ actions were not limited to women but also targeted his employees, witnesses to his behavior, and others who may have been in a position to expose or resist his alleged abuses. One of the most significant pieces of evidence cited is a video showing Combs violently assaulting his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, in a Los Angeles hotel. The footage reportedly captures him kicking, dragging, and throwing a vase at Ventura. Prosecutors allege that Combs, with the assistance of his close associates, paid hotel security staff $100,000 to obtain and suppress the incriminating video.

According to the indictment, Combs used intimidation, physical force, and threats to compel at least three female victims identified only by number to participate in commercial sex acts.

These encounters were reportedly organized under the term “Freak Offs,” a phrase attributed to Combs. However, prosecutors claim that other incidents involved only Combs and a single female victim. These encounters, they allege, were prearranged, sometimes lasted for multiple days, and were often recorded electronically. Furthermore, Combs is accused of providing victims with controlled substances to ensure compliance and submission.

Last month, Combs abandoned an effort to secure release on bail. Since his arrest in September, he has remained in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
