Dave Chappelle returned to Saturday NightLive on January 18, making waves with his signature mix of humor and unfiltered commentary. The iconic comedian tackled a range of current events, including the ongoing controversies surrounding music mogul Sean “P. Diddy” Combs.

Chappelle didn’t mince words during his monologue, addressing Diddy’s legal troubles head on.

“I’ve been in plenty of trouble in my day, but Puffy? Buddy, this guy is in an enormous amount of trouble. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like this,” Dave quipped, setting the tone for an edgy yet insightful segment.

Diddy is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn after pleading not guilty to charges of sex trafficking. However, his legal troubles don’t stop there. The rapper and producer faces multiple allegations of sexual assault, with several civil lawsuits already filed and more reportedly on the way. Despite the mounting accusations, Diddy has consistently denied all wrongdoing. For more updates check our Youtube channel.

Chappelle poked fun at the allegations, particularly the rumors of extravagant and controversial “freak-off” parties allegedly hosted by Diddy. In typical Chappelle fashion, he added a humorous twist. “My friends were shocked to find out I wasn’t part of the Bad Boy’s alleged sex parties,” he said. “For a moment, I thought, oh my God I’m ugly! Can you imagine reading the newspaper and finding out Hollywood had an orgy behind your back? And none of y’all called me?”

Chappelle isn’t the first comedian to use Diddy’s scandals as material. Nikki Glaser, host of the Golden Globe Awards, recently made headlines and sparked backlash by joking, “Since P. Diddy has been arrested, the afterparty won’t be as good this year… no baby oil.”

Beyond the Diddy controversy, Chappelle shifted his focus to politics. With Donald Trump set to take office, Chappelle urged the president-elect to rise above pettiness and lead with humanity. “The presidency is no place for petty people. Whether people voted for you or not, they’re all counting on you. The world is counting on you,” he said.
