A video shared by the rapper on Instagram shows him being greeted by a bagpiper, performing the instantly recognizable melody from “Still D.R.E.,” Snoop’s hit collaborative track with Dr. Dre.
The legendary rapper was greeted by Perthshire bagpiper Ross Ainslie when he touched down in Glasgow on Thursday 16 March.
“Just touched down in Scotland.”
The rapper captioned the video
Snoop Dogg shared footage of the epic performance and could be seen dancing and giving a thumbs-up as Ainslie performed on the tarmac.
The rapper went on to perform later that evening himself, at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, in a show that was originally scheduled for August 2022.
Fans were as amazed over the performance as Snoop was.
In an interview with Daily Record, bagpiper Ross Ainslie revealed he was given a very short notice for his performance. He said, “I only had a day to suss out some music but ‘Still D.R.E’ is a great pipe tune! Who knew?”
Snoop is currently touring the United Kingdom.
In addition to being on the road, the rapper also announced on March 17 a big endeavor. He’s launching his own brand of coffee products, called INDOxyz.
