Yung Miami, whose real name is Caresha Brownlee, has consistently attempted to distance herself from Sean “Diddy” Combs, but recent developments may complicate that effort. Despite her efforts, the Miami-born rapper now finds herself linked to a new lawsuit involving the disgraced music mogul. According to court documents on, September 27, an unidentified woman has accused Diddy of sexual assault, alleging that these assaults occurred over a four-year period. More shockingly, the lawsuit claims that Yung Miami harassed the victim and pressured her to terminate a pregnancy that was believed to have been fathered by Combs.
The lawsuit paints a disturbing picture, detailing how the woman claims she was subjected to repeated drugging and assault by Combs. According to her, the abuse occurred at least once a month during the time they were involved. The woman alleges that after discovering she was pregnant with Combs’ child, Yung Miami began to harass her, making repeated calls to urge her to have an abortion. The court documents specifically state that “Caresha Brownlee… harassed Jane Doe by repeatedly calling her and telling Jane Doe to have an abortion.” Tragically, the victim eventually suffered a miscarriage.
The allegations don’t stop there. The woman revealed in the suit that she first met Diddy overseas in 2020 and later began seeing him regularly after being invited on an all-expenses-paid trip with the music mogul. From 2021 to 2022, she claims she was repeatedly flown out to various locations, including Los Angeles, New York, and Miami, at Diddy’s request. More disturbingly, she asserts that Diddy’s associates would locate her and transport her to one of his homes without prior warning. During these interactions, Diddy and his team allegedly used “coercive and harassing language” to compel her to meet with him.
As this lawsuit surfaces, Yung Miami has become the subject of intense public scrutiny. In August, she directly addressed her relationship with Diddy and the surrounding controversy on her podcast, Caresha Please. During the episode, which featured her longtime friend Saucy Santana, Yung Miami commented on the situation, making it clear that she was not involved in or aware of the alleged incidents.
“I can’t speak on something that wasn’t my experience, and I can’t speak on something that I don’t know. I can’t speak on these allegations because I wasn’t around at the time,”
she said. “I don’t know that person, and that wasn’t my experience.”
She went on to defend herself against claims that she had been overly supportive of Diddy in the past. “People feel like I was Diddy’s biggest cheerleader, and I made him my brand. And I feel like Diddy was on brand for me. I met him when he was in another era. I met Diddy when the world was celebrating him and giving him his flowers when he was alive. He was getting the Global Icon Award, the 2022 BET Lifetime Achievement Award, the key to the city. He had a new album that was coming out, so I was celebrating him with the world. And I just feel like everybody’s trying to crucify me for it,” Yung Miami explained.
While Yung Miami has attempted to distance herself from Diddy’s controversies, her name being included in this lawsuit raises questions about her involvement, particularly regarding the harassment allegations. The legal case against Diddy continues to grow as more details emerge, and it remains unclear how the involvement of Yung Miami will impact her career and public image. For now, she maintains that the allegations are not reflective of her personal experiences or character.
As the situation unfolds, both Yung Miami and Diddy are facing mounting public pressure, with more attention being directed at the disturbing accusations outlined in the lawsuit. While Yung Miami has made it clear that she is distancing herself from the disgraced mogul, the court of public opinion will likely continue to scrutinize her role in the broader narrative surrounding Diddy’s legal troubles.
