Youtuber and boxer Jake Paul has challenged Mayweather to a “one on one fight” after an altercation between the two. Floyd Mayweather’s entourage confronted Jack Paul outside the basketball stadium after an NBA game between Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat on Wednesday.
“Floyd if you want to fight 1 on 1 we can do that but don’t try to hop out of 3 cars 25 dudes deep tryna to jump me while I’m tryna enjoy my Wednesday night,” Jack Paul tweeted after the altercation.
A member of Mayweather’s entourage had shouted at Paul, saying: “What happened? You not talking anymore since your loss? What happened since your loss?”
Jake Paul avoided the confrontation and ran away.
Explaining what happened after the game, Jake Paul said: “Floyd Mayweather and 50 dudes pull up out of nowhere,”
“Out of some side alley, waiting for me, outside of the stadium, [they said] ‘So what’s up? What’s all of that talk now?’
“I’m like, ‘First of all, what did I say to you, Floyd? I just took your hat and you’re still mad about it?’
“50 dudes literally started surrounding me to try and jump me. I’m out of that.
“Floyd, you want to run it one-on-one, no problem, but I’m not dumb. I’m tough, I don’t need to prove my toughness.”
The beef between the YouTube-turned-boxer and the undefeated world champion goes backto 2019 when he took the hat off the boxing legend’s head at a pre-media event ahead of Floyd’s exhibition match with Jake’s elder brother, Logan.
