After being together for almost nine years, Drew Sidora and Ralph Pittman have decided to end their marriage.
According to court documents obtained by a media outlet on March 1, Pittman filed for divorce from ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star on February 27, citing their date of separation as February 23 and stating that there is no possibility of reconciliation.
Sidora and Pittman wed in August 2014 and welcomed their son, Machai, the following year. In February 2018, their daughter, Aniya, was born. The actress also has an 11-year-old son, Josiah, from a previous relationship.
The couple’s marital woes were chronicled in Season 14 of RHOA.
“Love is a beautiful thing. Unfortunately we have made the difficult decision to move on to our next chapters, independent of each other. Drew and I have decided to file for divorce.”
Pittman said
He added: “We have three amazing young children, and their mindset and growth is what is most important. As we navigate this difficult time, I ask that you please respect our privacy.”
Pittman filed for divorce Monday in the Gwinnett County Superior Court in Lawrenceville, Georgia, citing a marriage that’s “irretrievably broken”
Pittman requested joint physical and legal custody of his children with Sidora in his divorce filing, as well as “final decision-making authority” on the children’s academics and medical care.
