Rapper Da Brat, 48, released a set of photos on social media platform Instagram revealing her baby bump.
“Blessing all 2023,” says the caption of the photo.She is accompanied by wife Jesseca “Judy” Harris-Dupart in the photos. Judy has three children from a previous relationship.

Da Brat explained that the decision to have a baby started out as a joke after a cryptic message about “extending the family” of the Kaleidoscope Hair Products business —which her wife Judy owns—was misconstrued by fans as an announcement for arrival of a new baby into the family. “It started as a joke, we were like, ‘We’re extending our family!But then we got a huge response. It was like, ‘Oh my God do we want to actually have kids, and if we do, girl, we better hurry up!,” she said.
“I never thought I was going to have kids. I just thought it wasn’t in the cards for me. I’ve had a great career, a full life. I felt like, because I didn’t get pregnant earlier on, then it just wasn’t going to happen for me,” she continued.
The couple have chosen an anonymous donor for their child. They have been together since 2020.
