Michael Strahan’s 19-Year-Old Daughter Reveals a Brain Tumor Diagnosis. Isabella Strahan, who is 19 years old and the daughter of Michael Strahan, a television personality and a star in the National Football League, revealed that she is fighting brain cancer.

Isabella Strahan and her father appeared together for an interview with Robin Roberts, the co-host of Michael Strahan’s “Good Morning America” program.

During the course of the conversation, the two individuals discussed Isabella’s battle with medulloblastoma, which is a fatal brain tumor.

According to her, she began getting headaches shortly after starting her first year of college in the autumn of last year, but at first, she thought it was a case of vertigo until she looked into it more. As the month of October 2023 came to a close, her symptoms became more severe.

She said, “I woke up probably around one o’clock in the afternoon.” When I woke up, I feared it. On the other hand, I was vomiting blood. And I thought, “This will probably not be a good thing.” I then texted her, and she informed the rest of the family.

The members of her family sought medical assistance, and the doctors discovered that she had acquired a tumor in the back of her brain that was the size of a golf ball and was growing at a fast rate.

There was an unexpected operation performed on her on October 27, the day before she turned 19 years old. Immediately after the operation, she had a month of recuperation, which was then followed by many rounds of radiation therapy.

After completing my radiation treatment, I am now accessible to… “Yesterday, I had the opportunity to ring the bell,” she remarked. “It was wonderful… Because it had been thirty sessions, it was a highly exhilarating experience. It’s been six weeks.”

During the next month, she will be treated with chemotherapy at Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center, which is located in Durham, North Carolina. In this instance, she will record her experience in a new YouTube series, and the earnings from the series will be donated to the hospital.

She said, “That is the next step for me.” “I’m ready for it to start and be closer to being over one day.”

Michael Strahan, who spent 15 seasons playing for the New York Giants, has said that he attributes his status as the “luckiest man in the world” to the fact that he is the proud father of an “amazing” daughter.

“I know she’s going through it, but I know that we’re never given more than we can handle and that she is going to crush this.”

According to the Mayo Clinic, medulloblastoma is a kind of brain tumor that originates in the region of the brain that is located in the lower back. Even though it is uncommon, the Mayo Clinic reports that it is the most prevalent kind of malignant brain tumor in children. Surgery, followed by radiation therapy, chemotherapy, or both, is often the first step in the treatment process for medulloblastoma.
